EUROPA <-> MEDITERRANEO <-> AFRICA
On May 8 and 9 within the European Festival 2008, for the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue the Fondazione Fabbrica Europa and the Antenna Europe Direct are promoting an international meeting as a further step in the evolutionary process of cultural relations among structures and artists from Europe and from the Mediterranean and African areas. Operators and directors of African and European festivals will take part in a two-day encounter. During the talks, a debate will start on the creation of South-South and South-North Networks in order to promote the circulation of new creations and to encourage the greatest possible distribution of works.

Two-day Meeting: "South-South and South-North Networks"
The first day will open a debate on the experiences of the different countries to present residency spaces, festivals and structures with production facilities. During the second day discussion will take place on the opportunities and ways and means of collaboration on specific projects, in order to encourage co-production projects and to bring about a distribution mechanism between Europe > the Mediterranean > Africa.
