T † BERNADETTE
A strong, intense emotional dance-duet, a portrayal of an intensive performative relation between the dancers Oona Doherty and Guilherme Miotto. Both performers belong to the core of the Dutch Dance Theatre Company T.r.a.s.h.
T.r.a.s.h. is known for its extreme physicality, shown in an almost violent way. In this collage they expose elements such as synergy and ecstasy as a precondition for interrelation.
Seeking for human conditions and understanding through intoxication.
Confronted with different personages, playing different roles, struggling with identity-issues they're getting high.
Slowly both loose their ability of relativating. A lack of interest in knowing who they really are appears. And all the rest is fake, an act of violence (concerning perspectives, possibilities and choices).
A very sober stage with washing machine, several wigs, lots of costumes.
