An encounter dealing with methodological and interpretative issues on symbolism in alchemy handed down in an exceptional Renaissance code.

Mino Gabriele, professor at the University of Udine, has for many years studied the subject of art and alchemy. He curated the 1986 edition of the Venice Biennale on Alchemy.

La tradizione in Occidente secondo le fonti manoscritte e a stampa (1986), Le incisioni alchemico-metallurgiche di Domenico Beccafumi (1988), Questioni di iconologia biblica (in La Bibbia a stampa da Gutenberg a Bodoni, 1991), Il mito degli Argonauti e la guerra di Troia in un affresco tardomedioevale (in "Critica d'Arte", 5-1996), Alchimia e Iconologia (1997). Furthermore he has been responsible for the edition of unpublished texts on alchemy, among which De la trasmutatione metallica. Poema del XVI secolo di A. Allegretti and Le précieux Don de Dieu.
