Musipolitana is an open forum, a 'catalogue' of workshops, open rehearsals, modular performances, lessons, recordings, street exhibitions, artists' data bank, a series of masterclasses, communities, associations and instruments, traditional celebrations and encounters.  Above all though, it is a small, working ORCHESTRA, with a strong nucleus of around 10 musicians from Italy, India, Iran, West Africa, Albania and Peru.
This orchestra is at the heart of Extrafesta's third evening. The orchestra will also include the most talented young foreigners (together with the leaders of Musipolitana) participating in the masterclasses and workshops of Roots & Routes 2007, and other guests.
The evening will finish with a multicultural, multiethnic party dance-session presided over by DJs, maestros and Roots & Routes guests.
