The Progetto Interregionale Teatro - Percorsi Innovativi di Alta Formazione (Inter-regional Theatre Project - Innovative Itineraries of Further Training) was promoted by the Tuscany Region and ran parallel in the regions of Puglia, Campania and Valle d'Aosta. The long training itinerary comes to an end with a public meeting.
Fondazione Pontedera Teatro, Cantieri Teatrali Koreja in Lecce, Nuovo Teatro Nuovo in Naples and Nuovababette Teatro in Aosta were associated in the realisation of the Inter-regional Project, which saw in all 54 students/actors and more than 60 teachers involved. The training itineraries targeted the creation of four shows which toured all the towns where the project was held; Roberto Latini in Pontedera, Antonio Vigano in Lecce, Pino Carbone in Naples, Donatella Cinà in Aosta directed the students/actors in the final production. In Pontedera, at the Theatre in Via Manzoni, the shows take place on May 20, 21, 22 and 23.
The Progetto Interregionale Teatro - Percorsi Innovativi di Alta Formazione has put into practice a long series of investigation, project elaboration and methodological and multi-disciplinary comparison among the partner Theatres, and is offered as a prototype of collaboration for the creation of concrete opportunities of growth and employment among the young actors in innovative theatre.

At a given moment the paragraphs of an existence may produce condensation and steam up its utility room: politics, purity, community, ideal, projectile, communism, defeat, mission, captivity, efficacy, degeneration, strategy, terrorism, claim, humanity. The importance of the moment does not give way to the missing story which cost the philosopher so much; rather, it exploits it to bring it up to date sixty years on, in the bitter, sour embarrassment of this new century: degeneration, disengagement, disorder.
A narrow, meagre scene that welcomes new human resources for the live show at the end of the three-year study itinerary, an experience in making and unmaking.
A study prior to the show was presented in Choisy-le Roi (F) at the Usine Hollander in an exchange of hospitality with the training section of the Compagnie La Rumeur.

Our thanks to: Scuola dell'infanzia Balducci - Il Neto (Sesto Fiorentino), Teatro della Limonaia (Sesto Fiorentino)
