There's this particular phenomenon; that of the eye. We observe its reactions to movement
(speed, trajectories...) and we understand that between light and shade there are spatial events, like a network that is close to what we call memory.
This experience led us to the creation of an installation for stage: "Slide". It's a light device that is activated through manual image-movements in relation to the movements happening on stage. For the project Solaire a series of quotidian photographs have been made, showing the performers in different landscapes. These images, through the light designers manipulations, operate and modify the texture of the space as part of a successive play between light and shade as to give a dynamic perception reminding the function and the sensation of memory: " I recognise this! ", " This reminds me of that ".
How does memory influence in present time the actor or the spectator?

Fabrice Lambert

Fabrice Lambert was born in 1974 in Grenoble. He ends his training at the Centre National de la danse L'Esquisse in 1994-1996. He then starts L'Experience Harmaat with Yuha-Pekka Marsalo and creates two shows presented at the TCD : Ethogram and Study for 4 movements (1997). He joins the Kubilaï Khan Investigations collective from 1996 to 1998, and then enters Carolyn Carlson's dance company (1997-1998). In 1998, he starts a collaboration with Catherine Diverrès at the CCN in Rennes, that will last until 2002. He also worked with François Verret, Emmanuelle Huynh and Rachid Ouramdane.
Since 2000, he has been developing his research and creation with the Harmaat Experience. His collaboration with artists, video-makers and dancers lead him to create many shows: No Body, Never Mind (2001), Topo (2001), The Dream (2002), Play Mobile (2003), Im-Posture (2004), Alphabet (2005), Meutes (2006), Gravity (2007), D'eux (2008), Virga (2009).
