Directed by Isabella Lapi Ballerina,  the Modern Art Gallery at Palazzo Pitti, extends its interest in the contemporary by programming its third cycle of encounters outside the walls of the Pitti Palace as part of Fabbrica Europa. The initiative is realised with the support of Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze/Osservatorio per le arti contemporanee.

On three successive Thursdays the Leopolda Station will be animated by a workshop of the contemporary, open to the city, in the third series of  Sopralluoghi - Indagine nel contemporaneo (Investigations - An inquiry into the contemporary).
Artists, critics, curators and the public meet in a dialectical process of free exchange between participants.
Each week two speakers will confront some of the problems and realities which characterise today's artistic world.
