Talvin Singh live
Singh grew up in Leytonstone (UK) and began playing the tabla, breakdancing and listening to punk rock as a child. At the age of 15, he went to India where he studied tabla under Pandit Lashman Singh, but he returned to the UK after just one year.
By the late 1980s, Singh had decided to turn towards the fusion of sounds. In 1991, he first appeared both playing and singing on the Kiss Them for Me single by Siouxie and the Banshees. Then, he began working as a musician with such artists as Sun Ra, Siouxie and the Banshees, Björk, Madonna, DJ Spooky, The Master Musicians of Jajouka, Jay Z e Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
Producer, composer and tabla player, he is known for creating an innovative fusion of classical Indian music and drum and bass.

Dj Raj Pannu from the Cold Cut Crew (Ninja Tune) is everything a dj should be - an all rounder, a confident exponent of high calibre sounds, old and new, a dazzling turntablist, and one who doesn't rely on classics - but creates them.
He has a uniquely eclectic take on turntablism - it seems he doesn't believe in genres! Taking in hiptronics, punk, post-punk, soul, rock, EBM, IDM, library records, electro(nics), dubstep, general beat heaviness and going across a huge bpm range, his sets are intricately woven together, with the skill of a seasoned veteran.
After 12 months and 120 gigs worldwide (everywhere from Japan to the whole of the U.S., Canada, France, Italy, Thailand, Australia, Israel, UK, Italy, Germany, India, Spain, Russia, Switzerland, Austria, Norway, Belgium) Raj  developed a completely unique audio visual set-up, allowing them to scratch video clips and music, creating the first proper turntablist video dj mixtape.
